The Brian Lehrer Show | Apr 30, 2015

How would your life be different if you wore the same outfit every day?

We shared a compelling argument for wearing the same exact outfit to work every day written by NYC-based Saatchi & Saatchi art director Matilda Kahl on our Facebook page several weeks ago, and the responses were overwhelmingly positive.

So this is what we’re proposing: the Brian Lehrer Show challenges YOU to wear the same outfit to work every day for one week. Are you up for the challenge? If so, sign up below and we’ll do it together from Monday, May 4th to Friday, May 8th!

Here’s how to play along: we’re not going to tell you what to wear (hint: monochromes and multiples are good strategies), but we’d like to see what your chosen outfit looks like. Once you’ve signed up below and decided on your outfit, take a photo of yourself in your “uniform” and post it online with the hashtag #1Week1Outfit. You can use Instagram, Twitter, or email us at blshow@wnyc.org…that’s up to you. Just be sure to tag it with #1Week1Outfit.

We’ll start on Monday, May 4th and have a few on-air check points for participants to call in and talk about how you’re doing, what you're thinking about (or not thinking about) throughout the week, and how your self-imposed work uniform changes your daily routine.

And yes, Brian will be participating.
