Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith has become a familiar figure on the electronic music scene. Instead of the thumping four on the floor rhythms of electronic dance music, Smith offers analog synthesizer sounds that look back to the so-called Krautrock of the 1970's and the new age music of the 1980's. She’s also been adding layers of her voice, often heavily processed, to the lush web of synthesizers that she plays. Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith  is playing Monday and Tuesday nights at National Sawdust in Brooklyn.
