She tells the story of college athlete Madison Holleran who shocked her friends and family when she committed suicide in 2014 while attending the University of Pennsylvania. She details Maddy’s life, her struggle with depression and shows how Maddy's story is part of a larger narrative about the mounting pressures faced by young people.
