A Thousand Thoughts: A Live Documentary

For 50 years, the Kronos Quartet has been exploding the image and the sound of the string quartet. Focusing on contemporary music, and championing artists from parts of the world rarely heard from in Western concert halls, Kronos have amassed a huge repertoire of music – and collaborators. One of the most unusual projects they’ve done is a live documentary called A Thousand Thoughts, in which writer and director Sam Green narrates from the stage while the band plays the music live. Kronos Quartet plays in the live documentary, A Thousand Thoughts on July 14 at BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn in Prospect Park.
