Kyra Sedgwick joins us to discuss “Story of a Girl,” which she produced and directed. She’ll be joined by her husband Kevin Bacon, who stars in it. Based on the novel by Sara Zarr, the film tells the story of 16-year-old Deanna, who is still struggling with the fallout from a sex video that went viral three years earlier. She’s forced to deal with harassment at school, and her father’s frustration and disappointment at home.
"Story of a Girl" airs on Lifetime on July 23 at 8 p.m.
Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon will appear in conversation with Entertainment Weekly's Amy Wilkinson at the 92Y (1395 Lexington Ave., between 91st and 92nd St.) on July 19 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $50.
