Lloyd-Hussain-Lage Trio from Healdsburg Jazz (Live Stream)
Sat., Sep. 26, 10PM EDT. Tickets: $15 minimum donation.

The veteran sax player Charles Lloyd has been collaborating with some of the jazz world’s brightest stars for over 60 years, from Ornette Coleman to his current pianist Jason Moran. But he’s never played in a trio quite like the one he’ll be leading on Saturday night, Sep. 26, when for the first time Lloyd joins guitar virtuoso Julian Lage and the great Indian tabla player Zakir Hussain for an evening of online music as part of the Healdsburg Jazz Festival. The players will converge on the intimate wine country town in Northern California from various locations, to play together in safe, socially distanced fashion without an in-person audience from the Paul Mahder Gallery. Minimum donation to watch the live stream is $15.
