Low Cut Connie – "Tell Me Something I Don’t Know" (Soundcheck Podcast)

Low Cut Connie makes classic, no frills rock’n’roll – one could call them a garage rock band, as their first album back in 2010 was actually made in a garage. But Low Cut Connie’s appeal is broad: Barack Obama, Elton John and Bruce Springsteen are all vocal fans of the band. Their latest album is called Art Dealers, and while the band has long been based in Philly, this record sees lead singer and pianist Adam Weiner looking back at his early days in New York, and is dedicated to the late Lou Reed. Hear the story of Low Cut Connie's album and the band’s live set in our studio on the latest edition of the Soundcheck Podcast, available wherever you get your podcasts.
