Ludovico Einaudi at the Beacon Theatre
June 28. 8PM. $89 + up.

Ludovico Einaudi had some pretty big shoes to fill. His father was the publisher of such famed writers as Primo Levi and Italo Calvino. His grandfather was president of Italy. But Ludovico is now the most well-known of the Einaudi clan, because he is the rare classical composer whose music is so well-liked that it’s actually hit the pop charts, both in Italy and, especially, in the UK. Einaudi’s music is often heard in films and tv, and features his own piano playing, often aided by strings and electronics. The popular Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi plays Tuesday, June 28, at the Beacon Theatre.
