Luke Temple makes experimental folk/rock with his band Here We Go Magic, and on his own. His new album, released as Luke Temple, is called Both-And. It was inspired by the Buddhist concept of impermanence. It’s a wide-ranging album, with a couple of electroacoustic instrumentals, some softly-played guy-with-guitar stuff, and some tunes that seem to borrow equally from the great Brazilian songwriter Antonio Carlos Jobim and Steely Dan. Luke Temple plays Wed., Sept. 18 at Baby’s All Right, and his song, "Don't Call Me Windy" is part of our Weekly Music Roundup.
