Isabel Sawhill, senior fellow in Economic Studies at the Brookings Institution, where she is co-director of the Budgeting for National Priorities project and co-director of the Center on Children and Families, and the author of Generation Unbound: Drifting into Sex and Parenthood without Marriage (Brookings Institution Press, 2014), argues for more use of long-acting birth control and fewer unplanned pregnancies.
