Into the Mind of A Brilliant Photographer

Curator Joel Smith and photographer Emmet Gowin discuss the “Hidden Likeness” exhibit at the Morgan Library & Museum. The first exploration of Gowin’s career at a New York museum— the exhibit combines favorites and rarities from his five decades of work. Gowin, the son of an evangelical minister, studied painting before taking up the camera. Through September 20.
