MLB spring training did not start this week as scheduled, due to a continued lockout and stalls in negotiations between MLB and the MLB Player's Association, who continue to struggle to agree on a collective bargaining agreement. The start of the regular season might be in peril, and the last time a lockout delayed a season, it had serious consequences for the sport.
