The song “Moonlight in Vermont” was written by Karl Suessdorf and John Blackburn. Margaret Whiting’s recording sold 2 million records for Capitol Records in 1944 – the first year of its release. Author Will Friedwald analyzes Sinatra’s 1957 recording of “Moonlight in Vermont” arranged by Billy May for the album Come Fly With Me.
