MTA to Shutdown Overnight Service from 1 A.M. to 5 A.M. Starting May 6

The governor announced that MTA will shutdown all service between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. every night in order to clean subway cars and stations as the COVID19 pandemic continues, and the MTA is faces pressure to address the small population of homeless people who continue to use the system as a refuge.
