New Jersey's Redistricting Process Underway

The once-a-decade redistricting process is well underway in New Jersey, with two commissions currently working on new maps for the Garden State. And while the drawing of new congressional and legislative maps can feel a bit in the weeds, the changes will affect all New Jersey residents, and determine who has a say in government.

Henal Patel, the director of the Democracy and Justice Program at the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice, sat down with WNYC's Michael Hill to discuss the process and how everyday New Jerseyans can get involved. For the full conversation, click "Listen."
