New York Values: All Together Now

The Brian Lehrer Show | Feb 26, 2016

As we've been discussing New York values all week, one of the most common responses is that it's a New York value to live in a diverse place, among people who are different from you. It's a defining New York value, a defining cosmopolitan value.

But living in a diverse environment is complicated. Much of New York is diverse, but maybe not integrated.

Listeners call in to talk about their conscious efforts to live an integrated life here in New York. You can keep the conversation going anytime on Twitter @BrianLehrer.
