Nobody Writes a Caption Like Larry Wood

The New Yorker Radio Hour | Jan 15, 2016

Larry Wood is a grandmaster of a very particular sport -- The New Yorker Cartoon Caption Contest. He’s won seven times, more than any other contestant. He explains his system to Susan Morrison, an editor at The New Yorker, who asks whether it’s altogether fair. “Who cares if it’s fair?” Wood replies.

Produced by Sara Nics and Rhiannon Corby.
