Amy Harmon, Pulitzer Prize-winning national correspondent for The New York Times, joins us to discuss her recent piece, “Beyond ‘Hidden Figures’: Nurturing New Black and Latino Math Whizzes” about a NYC camp for pre-teens from lower income public schools who all have a high math aptitude. Harmon will be joined by three of the students: Thays Garcia, Jonathan “JJ” Jackson and Emyr Willis.
