A new book recounts the history of African Europeans through stories of individuals who helped shape the continent, a history that goes back centuries. Olivette Otele, professor of history and memory of enslavement at the University of Bristol and vice president of the Royal Historical Society in the UK, joins us to discuss her book, African Europeans: An Untold History.
