Poet David Mills on his Poetry Collection about Manhattan's African Burial Ground

Lower Manhatten's African Burial Ground is the largest and oldest known burial ground for free or enslaved Africans in the United States. Last year, the poet David Mills released a poetry collection centered around the burial ground, called 'Boneyarn'. Mills is with us to discuss his interest in the space, how he wrote poems with both empathy and outrage inspired by the African Burial Ground, and do some readings.
