Report: Most Hate Crime Charges In New York Don't End In Conviction

Hate crimes have been on the rise in New York City but a new report finds a small portion result in conviction.

The City reports only about 15 percent of hate crime charges filed between 2015 and 2020 resulted in a conviction.
