Richard Gere, Lior Ashkenazi and Joseph Cedar On 'Norman'

The Leonard Lopate Show | Apr 12, 2017

Actors Richard Gere, Lior Ashkenazi and director/writer Joseph Cedar join us to discuss their film, “Norman: The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer.” Gere stars as Norman Oppenheimer, a would-be operator, who befriends a young Israeli politician named Micha Eshel, played by Ashkenazi, while he's visiting New York. Three years later, Micha becomes Prime Minister of Israel, which gives Norman the recognition he's always craved. But, Norman's newfound status might also be his undoing.

"Norman" opens 4/14 at the Sunshine Cinemas and Lincoln Center.
