When we last heard from New York songwriter S. Raekwon it was 2022, when he released I Like It When You Smile, a bright, warm collection of indie pop with a hip hop beat. Well, he’s still smiling, but his new single, “Steven’s Smile,” doesn’t take things at, you should pardon the expression, face value. It’s a song about using a smile to hide the hurt and the bad things inside; the music is gritty blues-rock. And given that the S. in S.
