In this memoir, Soloway tells the story of their parent coming out as transgender, as well as how they pushed through the male-dominated landscape of Hollywood to create the groundbreaking and award-winning Amazon TV series “Transparent.” The book charts Soloway’s evolution from straight, married mother of two to identifying as queer and nonbinary.
