The singer and composer Shara Nova has an operatically-trained voice that has inspired numerous contemporary composers to write pieces for her to sing. Shara also leads her own band, My Brightest Diamond, where her songs marry the sounds of indie rock and contemporary classical music, producing a kind of hybrid art song that’s hard to define but easy to like. Shara Nova brings her hybrid music to our Electric Nights series at Public Arts, tonight.
