Sophie – "One More Time" (Weekly Music Roundup)

Sophie is the name of the final album by the composer, producer, and trans icon known as Sophie. The album was almost complete when she died at the age of 34 after a fall while in Greece, and comes out in September. This track has just been released, and shows her unusual range. It’s called  “One More Time,” and it’s full of dark, ominous electronics eventually coalescing into a brief moment of straightforward dance music, as if Sophie wanted to show that she too could knock out a 4-on-the-floor banger when she wanted. "One More Time" by the late Sophie is part of our Weekly Music Roundup.
