The Soul Queen of New Orleans Lights Up Midsummer Night Swing

Grammy-winning vocalist Irma Thomas, the “Soul Queen of New Orleans,” talks about her life and career, as well as her upcoming performance with The Allen Toussaint Band at Midsummer Night Swing on June 25th. The performance blends soul, funk and rhythm & blues, and brings the sound of New Orleans to NYC.
