Spoon – "Wild" (Weekly Music Roundup)

The indie rock band Spoon burst out of Austin, Texas in the 2000's with a bunch of records that blended indie rock experimentation with a sure sense of Beatles-style pop. Their new album, Lucifer On The Sofa, has a grittier, blues-ier sound, apparently inspired by frontman Britt Daniel’s listening to old ZZ Top records, but there are some tracks that have that earlier Spoon sound. This one, called “Wild,” might even borrow a piano lick from the Rolling Stones; it's part of our Weekly Music Roundup.
