The Staves – Devotion (Weekly Music Roundup)

The Staves are an English folk-rock band led by three sisters: Emily, Jessica and Camilla Staveley-Taylor. On February 5, they’ll release their first new album in six years; it’s called Good Woman, and on it The Staves sing about mothers and daughters, and on the new single “Devotion,” the idea of being trapped by one’s own devotion to another. The trio’s typically thrilling vocal harmonies accumulate soaring layers of electronic keyboards that give it an almost anthemic sound by the end.

This song, "Devotion," by The Staves, is part of our Weekly Music Roundup.
