The band Sylvan Esso is usually a duo, but their intricate sound requires lots of electronics and production. So last year, they decided to invite a bunch of their musician friends to leave their own bands behind and join them on a short tour as an all-star 10-piece ensemble. It was a once-in-a-career thing, and everyone knew it, so the cameras were rolling. And Thursday night, April 23, at 9PM, Sylvan Esso unveils the results – a concert film called simply WITH. Recorded in their hometown of Durham, North Carolina, it includes a live version of their breakout single, “Coffee.”
