Tarta Relena is a duo of singers from Barcelona who use their two voices, electronics, and occasional beatmaking to transform the sounds of medieval and Renaissance music, as well as folk songs from around the Mediterranean. Tarta Relena joins the Moroccan-French quartet Bab L’Bluz, AfroDominican singer Yasser Tejeda, South Asian electronica wiz Karsh Kale, and more as part of the 2024 Globalfest event at David Geffen Hall on Jan. 14.
