Live music is beginning to come back. On Thurs., Aug. 13, the Morris Museum in New Jersey begins its Lots Of Strings Music Festival. For each of the next four Thursday evenings, the museum will present one of today’s leading string quartets in a live performance. Of course, that wouldn’t be safe in the museum itself, so get ready for the odd sight and sound of Tchaikovsky’s String Quartet #1 ringing out in the Morris Museum’s elevated parking lot. But hey, it’s live music so no one’s gonna care…

The Tesla Quartet plays on Thurs., Aug. 13, in the first of the Morris Museum’s rooftop parking lot concerts. These events are BYOC – bring your own chair.
