The New York City nurses strike comes to an end

WNYC News | Feb 22

The last group of New York City nurses who were on strike are heading back to work.

This ends weeks of picket lines and stalemates at hospitals across Manhattan and the Bronx. The union says it was the longest nurses strike in New York City history.

WNYC's health reporter Caroline Lewis has been covering this every step of the way. She joins Weekend Edition host David Furst with the latest.
