Town Hall @ 100: Chris Thile, et al at Bryant Park

All summer Bryant Park has been presenting free live concerts in its Picnic Performance series. That series concludes on Monday evening, Sept. 20, with a starry lineup of musicians all celebrating the centennial of Town Hall.  Among the featured guests are mandolinist, singer and songwriter Chris Thile, jazz singer Cécile McLorin Salvant, and Indian tabla master Zakir Hussain. You may recall that Chris Thile hosted the popular public radio show Live From Here; and he is still a public radio favorite, even if he does sometimes play too many notes. Chris Thile, Cécile McLorin Salvant and Sullivan Fortner, Zakir Hussain and Ganesh Rajagopalan, Damon Daunno, and Timo Andres all play on Monday night as part of the free Bryant Park performance series.
