Alberto Burri Comes Back to the U.S.

Emily Braun, Distinguished Professor, Hunter College and CUNY Graduate Center, curated the exhibit “Alberto Burri: The Trauma of Painting” at the Guggenheim. This major retrospective exhibition showcases the pioneering work of Italian artist Alberto Burri. It is the first in the U.S. in more than 35 years and the most comprehensive ever mounted. The exhibition runs through January 6th.
