Unfiltered Music Festival: Jenny Lin at Fotografiska

Pianist Jenny Lin has established herself as a champion of contemporary composers, and after touring with Philip Glass and his ensemble for a number of years, she has naturally come to be associated with his piano works. She is also a longtime fan of the Ukrainian composer Valentin Silvestrov, who, like Philip Glass, was born in 1937, but who is currently living in Europe as a refugee from the Russian invasion of his country. On Wednesday's concert which concludes the annual Unfiltered Music Festival, Jenny Lin plays solo piano works by both of those pre-eminent composers. The Unfiltered Music Festival runs from April 17-19 at Fotografiska on Park Avenue South.
