Reflecting On Politics Through Poetry

The Leonard Lopate Show | May 18, 2017

Poets Amit Majmudar, Carol Muske-Dukes, and Andrea Cohen join us to discuss their new poetry collection Resistance, Rebellion, Life: 50 Poems Now. The book is a response to the 2016 election and our current political landscape. Majmudar, Ohio’s poet laureate and the son of immigrants, edited the collection. He also wrote the introduction.

Majmudar and many of his fellow contributors to this collection will appear at NYU's Tishman Auditorium (40 Washington Square South, between Macdougal and Sullivan St.) on May 22 at 7 p.m.
