Walter Isaacson Takes On Leonardo da Vinci

The Leonard Lopate Show | Oct 31, 2017

Walter Isaacson, University Professor of History at Tulane and former CEO of the Aspen Institute, chairman of CNN, and editor of Time magazine, joins us to discuss his new book Leonardo da Vinci. Isaacson crafted his biography of da Vinci by using the inventor and artist's personal notebooks as well as exploring recent discoveries about his life. He paints a portrait of a man whose work found science intersecting with art.

Walter Isaacson will appear in conversation with Neil deGrasse Tyson at the 92nd St. Y (1395 Lexington Ave., between 91st and 92nd St.) on Nov. 2 at 8 p.m.
