Should Soda Have a Warning Label?

A new proposal from Assembly Member Karim Camara (D-43), representing parts of Crown Heights, Lefferts Gardens, and East Flatbush, would require a warning label on sugary drinks to let consumers know the product is dangerous to their health. It would read: "SAFETY WARNING: DRINKING BEVERAGES WITH ADDED SUGAR CONTRIBUTES TO OBESITY, DIABETES AND TOOTH DECAY."
