The New York-based rock band We Are Scientists is about to release a new album this fall, and they’re just itching to play their new songs live. The band, whose performances over the years have occasionally had comic moments to them, spent much of the past year doing a pandemic podcast series called Dumpster Dive. They were supposed to be talking about their old songs, but would end up wandering into unexpected territory. Tuesday night, the band We Are Scientists wanders out onto the rooftop at Elsewhere for a live set.
