What Businesses Can Learn From Improv Comedy

The improvisational theater group The Second City might be best known as the training ground for such talents as Tina Fey, Steve Carrell and Amy Poehler. But the group also teaches improvisation to corporations to help them make their businesses better.

Kelly Leonard, executive vice president of The Second City and Tom Yorton, CEO of Second City Works, have written a book about their work: “Yes, And: How Improvisation Reverses ‘No, But’ Thinking and Improves Creativity and Collaboration.” They speak with Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson.
