Alyssa Mastromonaco recalls her time working in the Obama White House as Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations. Her new book Who Thought This Was a Good Idea?: And Other Questions You Should Have Answers to When You Work in the White House tells the stories of what it takes to help a president do their job.
