Supplements have become a multi-billion dollar industry backed by manufacturers, marketers and health professionals. Frontline correspondent and CBC journalist Gillian Findlay talks about the new Frontline documentary “Supplements and Safety,” which examines supplements, false claims and the lack of regulation around their sale and prescription.

Frontline's “Supplements and Safety,” a collaboration with The New York Times and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, airs on Tuesday, January 19th at 10 p.m. on PBS.

Immigrants' stories have been unfolding on an off-Broadway stage in an uncommon way. One is of a doctor in her 40s who fled Zimbabwe. Another featured a Colombian woman who regretted leaving her homeland for the United States. A third entered into a marriage of convenience with an American after overstaying her visa, and then suffered a violent assault in the subway.
