Staceyann Chin is known as a passionate, spoken-word poet and political activist — but her new, one-woman show MotherStruck!, directed by Cynthia Nixon, is about her struggle to become a mom. WNYC talked with Staceyann Chin in her Brooklyn apartment about raising a child in New York City and how having her daughter Zuri transformed her work.
