Health economist Austin Frakt,who writes about health care in his New York Times column "The New Health Care," talks about his recent article "The Hidden Financial Incentives Behind Your Shorter Hospital Stay", which examines the financial incentives behind shorter hospital stays and how economics have driven these changes.
