Yael Naim – "My Sweetheart" (La Blogotheque)
With live music on hold, the internet has become a thicket of live streams and digital performance archives. Some do it better than others, of course, but perhaps no one does it better than La Blogotheque, the French production company that for a decade has created unique, intimate live performances in unusual places. Impeccably curated and beautifully shot. They did the last of their regular productions on the streets of Paris just hours before the French lockdown. It featured the French-Israeli singer Yael Naim with a small brass and vocal ensemble doing a strangely affecting version of her song "My Sweetheart." Like all of La Blogotheque’s videos, it is worth watching:
