Every year around Hanukkah, the veteran rock band Yo La Tengo has done a series of benefit concerts where they and their surprise guests play a variety of songs – their own but also lots of covers, the more unexpected or off the wall, the better. This year, Yo La Tengo will play a single live, socially distanced event, on Friday night, Dec. 18, in The Greene Space, our ground floor performance venue, and you’ll be able to watch online. As always, proceeds from the concert will be donated to charity.
