Young Voters, Latino Voters

Melissa Mark-Viverito, vice president of strategic engagement for the Latino Victory Fund and Power 4 Puerto Rico and former New York City Council speaker, surveys how Latino voters are feeling about and voting in the midterm elections. She is joined by John Della Volpe, director of polling at the Harvard Kennedy School Institute of Politics, who talks about the latest polling on young voters.

I'm Cuban American, 28 and been voting every election for 10 years. I think if parties really want to appeal to Spanish voters, come to community events and talk to us. In FL, candidates speak Spanish (try) because of the majority. It is working! My relatives vote all the time.

@BrianLehrer I am 20, and I was eligible for the first time to vote in the 2016 election. I feel that it is my Civic duty to fight against the apparent regime that Trump is ruthlessly trying to create. The only way to fight back right now is to VOTE.
