A member of Congress from New Jersey on why the 14th Amendment needs more protection

New Jersey Congressmember Analilia Mejia is one of group of House Democrats launching a task force to defend what they say are repeated attacks from the Trump Administration to the 14th Amendment, which includes the constitutional right to due process and equal protection and the right to citizenship for all persons born or naturalized in the United States.

 Mejia, who will co-chair the task force, joined WNYC Morning Edition host Michael Hill to discuss it.
