WNYC News | Jun 17

The New York City area is still buzzing after the Knicks' dramatic NBA championship victory late Saturday night in San Antonio. The team will take a trip up the Canyon of Heroes on Thursday to celebrate with fans, many of whom have been waiting to see their team back on top of the basketball world for over 50 years. Actor and Knicks fan John Turturro is one of those fans. Turturro, who's starring in the upcoming thriller film "The Only Living Pickpocket in New York", became an unofficial Knicks correspondent on Morning Edition during this championship run. He joined WNYC host Michael Hill for one last hoorah.
